We are a busy family of four, living on a three acre flower farm. We offer convenient access to fresh, seasonal flowers in central Iowa.  

Hi there! I’m Tara, the owner and chief grower, here at Wild Bird Farm. My husband, Lee, often helps with the heavy lifting parts of flower farming and builds the infrastructure we continue to add to the farm. Our two teen daughters help out when needed, usually without too much grumbling. :)

From the fresh flower bouquets at your favorite small-town boutique to our open You- Pick hours at the farm, we provide convenient access to fresh, locally grown flowers. Look us up for a bucket of DIY blooms for your next event!

Did you know the pesticide-sprayed roses and neon colored carnations you can pick up from a big box store were packed for shipping months ago? Heavy preservatives are used to keep them alive during transport. We harvest daily from our central Iowa fields, so you will see an outstanding vase life from our flowers!

The flowers we offer change with the seasons so you will always receive the freshest blooms available to our region.
